Adventure Tours Planning to Introduce Quads in India

New Delhi-based inbound tour operator, Adventure Toursis looking at introducing the special four-wheeler bike, quads in India for their adventure tour packages. Quads will help tour operators to take their clients to inaccessible beautiful locations, which are restricted to tourists due to the rough terrain that cannot be covered by normal transport. First, the travel company will use quads for a test tour and depending on the results will decide on adding the special four-wheeler bike to their packages. The company is looking at Changthang, Tsomoriri and Tsokar near Pangong Lake in Ladakh for introducing the quads drives.

Speaking with TravelBiz Monitor, Rajender Raina, Manager, Adventure Tours offered, “We plan to do a trial tour next month, wherein we will call experts from Europe and monitor the performance of the quads in specific areas where we would like to use them. Only then will we decide on adding them to packages on our itineraries.” Their itineraries include adventure activities like paragliding, river rafting, trekking, rock climbing etc.
